A fixed bridge for a full arch of teeth
All-on-X replaces a complete upper or lower arch with a bridge supported by implants. The “X” refers to the planned number of implants. At ProDent in Nysa, we offer All-on-4 and All-on-6: a full-arch bridge supported by four or six implants.
The bridge is fixed with screws and stays in place for everyday use. You do not remove it like a conventional denture, although a clinician can remove it when necessary. Treatment may be planned for one arch or both, following assessment.
All-on-4 or All-on-6?
| Treatment | Implant support | Price |
|---|---|---|
| All-on-4 | Four implants supporting one full arch | $10,214 |
| All-on-6 | Six implants supporting one full arch | $11,999 |
The number of implants is a clinical decision, not simply a choice between a smaller and larger package. Bone availability, the shape of the jaw, your bite and the proposed bridge all influence the plan. Six implants are not automatically necessary or appropriate for every patient.
What is included?
The listed treatment includes implant placement, a temporary bridge and a final zirconia bridge on a titanium bar. We use a titanium bar for the final full-arch restoration. The quoted price relates to one arch; the exact scope and any additional procedures are confirmed during consultation.
See the implantology price list and ask for an individual written plan before treatment begins.
Who may be suitable?
This approach may be considered if you have no teeth in an arch, teeth that cannot be retained or difficulty with an unstable removable denture. It is not appropriate to remove restorable teeth simply to fit a particular package. The consultation includes a discussion of alternatives and the prospects for your remaining teeth.
We review your medical history, oral health and bite. CBCT imaging helps assess the jaw and plan implant positions where indicated. Gum disease, extractions or bone augmentation may need to be addressed before or during the surgical phase.
Your treatment, step by step
- Assessment and planning. We examine your mouth, review necessary imaging and explain the options, costs and expected timetable.
- Preparation and surgery. Any planned extractions and implant placement are carried out according to the agreed plan, usually under local anaesthetic.
- Temporary teeth. A fixed temporary bridge may be fitted within 24 hours if the implants achieve sufficient initial stability. If they do not, another interim solution is needed.
- Healing and reviews. You follow the prescribed diet and cleaning instructions while we monitor healing.
- Final bridge. The final zirconia bridge on a titanium bar is usually made around six months later, after healing and integration have been confirmed. Some cases take longer.
What does “teeth within 24 hours” mean?
It means a temporary bridge, in suitable cases. It is not a promise for every patient and does not mean the final bridge is fitted immediately. A temporary bridge needs protection during healing, including a soft diet as instructed. Normal, unrestricted chewing should not be assumed at this stage.
Looking after a full-arch bridge
You need to clean around the implants and underneath the bridge using the methods demonstrated by your clinician. Regular maintenance appointments help monitor the gums, implants, screws and restoration. Smoking and poor plaque control can affect healing and long-term health around implants.
Possible problems include infection, failure of an implant to integrate, inflammation around an implant and wear or damage to parts of the bridge. The clinician will explain the risks for your case; no implant or restoration comes with a guaranteed lifelong result. See our aftercare information.
Common questions
Does All-on-4 replace only four teeth?
No. Four implants support a bridge replacing a complete arch of teeth. The number refers to the implants, not the number of teeth in the bridge.
Will everyone receive a fixed bridge within 24 hours?
No. This depends on initial implant stability and other clinical factors. The team will explain the interim option if immediate loading is not suitable.
Does the price cover both jaws?
The listed price is for one full arch. If both arches need treatment, each is assessed and included in your individual estimate.
Does this always avoid bone grafting?
No. Implant positioning can help use the available bone, but some patients still need additional procedures or a different treatment approach.
Is the final bridge included?
Yes: the described package includes the temporary bridge and final zirconia bridge on a titanium bar, alongside implant placement. Confirm the full scope and any additional costs during your consultation.
Can I spread the payments?
Instalment plans are not currently available through our English-language service. Read our payment information and discuss the treatment estimate and payment schedule with reception before booking.
